Carbohydrates, on the other hand, can increase your blood sugar levels more easily compared to other foods since they are easier to digest. Though carbs are not really prohibited, you must take note of your consumption of these to maintain good health. Fats, the last of the three, must be avoided due to the linkage between diabetes and heart problems. Fats clog the arteries and are therefore fatal to everyone, especially those with diabetes. In order to remain healthy, people with diabetes must reduce fat intake to about thirty percent of total daily consumption.
